Naivas is set to open its 84th store in Naivasha on Friday as the leading retail shop in Kenya continues with its expansion.
Over the past few months, the supermarket has been aggressive on its expansion spree this being its third store in Naivasha.
The new branch names Safari Centre comes at a time when the retailer is defending its market leadership over its close rivals.
They are targeting thousands of shoppers around the highly-dense populated region.
Speaking to Taarifa news, Naivas Chief Commercial officer Willy Kimani revealed that they surpassed their store target in their last financial year and are on track for this financial year they have started.

“It is good we managed to surpass the store target that we had planned for our last financial year and this year we are on the course,” Said Willy Kimani.
Naivas seeks to continue with its expansion plan to better serve its shoppers all over the country.
