A lobby group has termed as malicious the inclusion of Professor Philip Kaloki in a list released by the National Integrity Alliance( NIA) that raises a red flag on candidates deemed unfit for public office.

The Kenya Leadership and Integrity Network claim that the move is aimed at kicking out Kaloki as the running mate to Azimio La Umoja gubernatorial candidate for Nairobi Polycarp Igathe.

The list by NIA which was headlined ” Red Card” was released on Sunday where IEBC was urged not to clear those listed.

” As a leadership and Integrity Network which is also a human rights network,we would like to state categorically that we were not involved or consulted in this subject matter and it came as shock to us that some of the politicians were not mentioned in the press statement,” said Frank Otieno the group chairman.

They also questioned why Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja was not included yet he was linked to the famous Kemsa scandal.

” Inclusion of Professor Philip Kaloki in the list is mischievous, and a clear proof that the red 2022 red cars list by National Integrity Alliance was not generated from authentic and trusted investigation report,”Frank added.
