Nairobi Governor  Ann Kananu  has directed  treasury head Joseph Githiaka  to stop any further  payments  pending  bills  too until  further  notice.

In an internal  notice  pinned at City Hall Treasury department the governor has stopped all payments till after elections

“All Payments  are suspended  until  further  notice, Any Payment due shall be processed  in September” the notice read.

Kananu  directive  is geared at stopping  suspect payments after changes  she made were challenged in courts.

Mohamed  Sahal  AWOL Chief  Finance  office  for health  and acting Chief Finance  Officer at Treasury  moved to courts  early  this week challenging  his removal  from crucial  docket.

He was replaced with Githiaka who since assuming  office  has been avialable  to serve Nairobians.

Sahal  abandoned  Nairobians  and for months decided  to go AWOL working  making suspects  payment outside  City Hall, ‘ Law will one day catch  up with him,

After new appointments  city hall treasury  departments seems to have had new synergy  with Githiaka  performance  being welcomed  by City Hall Workers Union  Official  among  them Festus  Ngare, happy that some genuine  deserving  pending  Bills  were cleared  as well workers overdue  wages  and deduction  ,Both Allan Igambi  CEC Finance  and Mohamed  Sahal acting  Finance and Health Chief officer  divided to abandon  their  work  stayed away from office but made fictitious  payments….

By September  when new Governor  takes over huge pending  Bills will be of key importance  as Governor  Kananu  exit  Office but will  be remembered  to have calm the waters steared  City Hall from  turbulence  since Sonko was impeach, when Sonko came in around  2017 Nairobi  City County bank  account  had zero amount  after the then Governor  Evans Kiprono did not stop suspect  payments,  Former County Official  stole huge amount  of money some are still  facing  court cases to-date.
