Police officers have started an investigation in Umoja 2 area of Nairobi after an 18 year Old Erick Maina Njeri and his Unknown girlfriend were found dead in their house.
The two who had gone missing for three days were found stabbed with wounds in their house.
Their neighbors were alerted by the odour that was coming from their house which prompted them to check.
According to the Police report seen by Taarifa News that was submitted to Buruburu Police Division from Umoja Police post, the Victims Erick Maina, 18 year Old and his Unknown Girlfriend had been locked in the house number 11 in plot number 1450 of Umoja zone 8. The step father to Erick,Sisa Mugambi who reported the matter to Umoja Police Post had been looking for Erick via phone but his phone went unanswered.
“There was some bad smell coming from the house and it had been locked with a padlock,” read the Report.
“From the observations done,there was struggle in the Kitchen, leaving room and the bedroom. Erick had a rope on the neck and hands with a deep cut behind the neck. The unidentified girl had injuries on her breast, right shoulder and the lower abdomen, “the report continued.
Giving the details, Buruburu Deputy OCPD, Mbusa Awour said the Homicide DCI team of Buruburu is currently doing a detailed investigation and will give the full report once they are through.
“Homicide DCI team is doing Investigations and once they are done they will give a report,” said Mbusa.
The bodies were taken to Mama Lucy hospital awaiting for postmortem.
