Mwea Constituency Member of Parliament, Mary Maingi, is on a mission to empower every young individual in Mwea through various initiatives aimed at equipping them with the skills and resources they need to succeed.

One of the flagship programs under Maingi’s leadership is the expansion of resources at the Mwea Technical and Vocational College. The college is bolstering its offerings to ensure that as many young people as possible have access to quality vocational training, preparing them for success in Mwea’s industrious environment.

In addition to traditional vocational training, Maingi is encouraging young people from Mwea to participate in the digital Jitume program. This initiative provides training on online software tools, equipping participants with the skills needed to secure remote employment opportunities in today’s digital economy.

Recognizing the importance of supporting those already engaged in entrepreneurial pursuits, Maingi has launched the Mama na Boda “Hustle Safi” program. This program focuses on individuals in the motorcycle industry, providing them with essential training on financial management and wealth accumulation strategies. The recent inaugural training session equipped participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in their businesses.

Maingi’s commitment to empowering the youth of Mwea extends beyond these initiatives. She is dedicated to ensuring that these programs reach every corner of the constituency, reaching as many individuals as possible and providing them with the support they need to succeed.

“My goal is to see a flourishing Mwea constituency with skilled and working individuals,” Maingi emphasized. “I will walk alongside each and every young individual in Mwea constituency until they succeed.”

Through her leadership and dedication, Mary Maingi is making significant strides in empowering the youth of Mwea, paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for the entire constituency.
