KNCCI To Partner With BPIFRANCE On Training Programs and Financing.

Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Richard Ngatia has strike a business deal in France that will promote SMEs, start up and joint partnership between Kenya and French Companies.

“Today i held a meeting with Bpifrance Executive Director Pedro Novo in Paris France,to strengthen our business partnership that will promote our SMEs,”Ngatia said.

Bpifrance is one of the active supporter of the new techniques of development financing (venture capital and funds of funds investment) and bring together techniques of direct equity investment with more traditional forms of loan and guarantee business.

Ngatia said that,In coming weeks they will lay out the implementation framework on training programs and development financing.

The partnership comes barely aday ,after Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) agreed on a partnership deal with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) aimed at supporting businesses in Kenya.

The deal was signed by Ms. Estelle Gillot, the FCCI Head of International Events and Partnership in the presence of Mr. Richard Ngatia, her Kenyan counterpart.

As part of the agreement, FCCI and KNCC will work towards expanding trade and investment opportunities through the support of Business Incubators, Digital technology, apprenticeship, SMEs programs, benchmarking, exhibitions, and events with the Kenyan business industry.

KNCCI will also focus on ICT, Logistics, Agriculture, Hospitality, and Infrastructure to expand its partnership with French Companies.
