The National Secretary General of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union (KNPSWU), Bro Isaac GM Andabwa, is filled with joy after being bestowed with a significant honor.

“On March 30th, I experienced a once-in-a-lifetime honor that surpassed all expectations. I was coronated and installed as an elder of the Mulembe Nation (Luhya Elder) in the presence of 30,000 uniformed and enthusiastic Private Security Officers – a historic moment that resonated throughout Uhuru Park, the very grounds steeped in Kenya’s Independence History.

My recognition and coronation symbolize my relentless efforts and sacrifices in advocating for reforms in the private security industry, which has been marginalized for decades.

This marks a new era for security guards in Kenya! A future with a salary of 30,000 and above, the respect you deserve, and acknowledgment for your dedication that will not only be felt in your communities but also in your paychecks and wallets!”
