Tokyo 2020: Malkia Strikers begin training in Mombasa

Malkia strikers have taken to Mombasa as part of their preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, scheduled to take place in July.

The coastal trip, facilitated by National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) comes two weeks after the team’s 45-day high intensity training in Brazil was halted by the Government Amid rising cases of covid-19 cases in the South American nation


On hand to receive the team at Moi International Airport was Kenya Volleyball Federations Secretary General, Ben Juma, who took time to welcome the team to Mombasa shortly after the team landed at 7:30am before the team checked in at Pride Inn Hotel, Shanzu.
