Political battle between Makadara Member of Parliament George Aladwa and Makongeni MCA Peter Imwatok has taken a new twist and after being thrashed politically Aladwa has moved to contest the governor seat in Nairobi.
There has been a political heat generated by the firebrand MCA Peter Imwatok with squabbles ranging from sub-county party chairmanship to recent clash involving Odm secretary General Edwin Sifuna.
Aladwa has now opt to run for gubernatorial seat to escape political heat in Makadara.”Mimi nataka kutangaza kuwa nasimama gavana na watu wametangaza hata Tim ametangaza Sasa tuwachia wananchi watamua.” He said
Imwatok is will announce is considering Makadara seat a move giving Aladwa camp sleepless night.
“I do not have to be an MP to deal with Aladwa as i have said tutapambana naye mpaka mwisho ODM Party is not his kitchen he must respect leaders..whether am vying for Makadara Seat or not that will be clear by January my supporters should relax and wait for big announcement.” Imwatok said.
