30 year old man has committed suicide after a bitter domestic quarrel with his wife in Mabatini slums Mathare sub-county.
Deceased neighbour Gideon Otanga told the media that the couple clashed over Remote Control quarrel after the husband refused to give it out to the wife.
“They started quarreling over remote control this is after he refused to give it out to the wife ..He was very drunk at the same time…he then threatened the wife that he could stab her …it was at this moment that we came in to calm them down.” Otanga told the media.
According to Otanga the deceased is always drunk and irresponsible a vice that has led to perennial quarrel between him and the wife.
‘‘They have been quarreling all the time this is not the first time and it is also true that the deceased was very irresponsible and ever drunk.’’ Otanga said.
The body was taken to City Mortuary as police continue with investigations.
