CS Zachariah Njeru Joins International Development Leaders at 21st Replenishment IDA Summit

CS Zachariah Njeru, EGH, the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation, played a key role in the ongoing International Development Association (IDA) Summit, marking the 21st replenishment of the IDA fund. The summit, held at the Kenya International Convention Centre, brought together government dignitaries, heads of states, and high-ranking officials from around the world to discuss strategies for fostering development in low-income countries.

Presided over by H.E President Dr. William Ruto, the summit saw the participation of notable figures, including Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, other cabinet secretaries, and distinguished guests from various sectors.

CS Njeru had the honor of serving as an escort of honor for the Prime Minister of Côte d’Ivoire, H.E Robert Beugré Mambé, who arrived in the country for the summit. Their presence underscored the commitment of both Kenya and Côte d’Ivoire to international cooperation and development efforts.

The IDA, dedicated to assisting low-income countries through grants and extended low-interest loans, plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable development initiatives worldwide.
