Roysambu Member of Parliament, Hon. Kamande Mwafrika, demonstrated unwavering solidarity with victims affected by the ongoing floods in Nairobi.

In a compassionate gesture, he visited Njathaini Primary School in Zimmerman ward, where he distributed essential food items to families grappling with the aftermath of the floods.

The MP’s visit to Njathaini Primary School was not only an act of generosity but also a promise of support and reassurance to the affected community. Hon. Mwafrika assured the families that plans are underway to renovate the school’s classrooms that were devastated by the floods, ensuring that education continues uninterrupted for the students.

This initiative comes in response to President Dr. William Ruto’s directive to open all schools on Monday, the 13th, and to rebuild any institutions affected by the floods using the National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).

Hon. Mwafrika has been at the forefront of aiding flood victims in Roysambu Constituency. Just yesterday, he stood in solidarity with those affected in the Kamae area, where he pledged to rebuild damaged roads and address infrastructural challenges caused by the floods.

Through his proactive and compassionate leadership, Hon. Kamande Mwafrika is providing vital assistance to vulnerable communities in Roysambu Constituency during this challenging time. His commitment to rebuilding and supporting those affected by the floods exemplifies his dedication to serving the people and improving their quality of life.
