Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja will be traveling to Mombasa with UDA MCAs only after Azimio Coalition MCAs decline to be part of the trip geared in discussing who becomes the speaker.
Sakaja through high rise MCA Kennedy Oyugi asked MCAs to join governor in Mombasa where they will be given heavy allowances plus accommodations and food.
According to Makongeni MCA Peter Imwatok the outgoing Whip Azimio MCAs have been directed not attend the Mombasa trip as it was an UDA affair.
“No one is going to Mombasa and we have told them so ..Sakaja must know we are in court as an Azimio and we don’t have time We have clear instructions from our coalition about that Sakaja caucus.” Imwatok told the media.
Meanwhile Kilimani MCA trashed Sakaja’s request saying they are still following court as Azimio fraternity and they had nothing to celebrate in Mombasa.
“How can we go to Mombasa when our general is Down we have a. Case in Court and Sakaja must know that we don’t have time to waste we are waiting for our victory.” Ogeto said
