ODM and Jubilee Chairperson’s in Nairobi County have vowed to ensure peaceful campaigns are carried conducted by Azimio la Umoja aspirants.
The leaders have promised to follow the directions that the leadership of Azimio will tell them.
They said they will hold joint campaigns to popularize the movement in a strategy aimed at uniting the country ahead of the 2022 General Elections.
They are tasked with reaching residents of Nairobi Couty to sensitize and motivate them to engage in peaceful campaigns and be the one’s keeper in the electioneering period.
“Kenya cannot afford another era of political violence where people are fighting against each other,” they said in a statement.
Currently, the County is experiencing a rise in political temperature with supporters of Gubernatorial hopefuls fighting with words over the other.
They said the nominations will be fair and peaceful and no one should be worried.
