Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has been forced to give an explanation after he was accused of using someone else’s words while separating with ex-wife.
The governor claimed that he is the original owner of the message he wrote for his former first lady.
He further urged people not to accept things that are not from his verified account.
“Anything – write up, photos etc that are written by me are posted in my verified Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Any other write-ups in blogs, whatsapp groups etc bearing my name as the author are FAKE.Please treat them as such,” wrote the governor.
According to T. R. OKuna, DR Alfred Mutua used his words and did not give him credit.
“Writing, especially on lived experiences, takes time & energy. Everyone is welcome to share my writing, as long as they don’t appropriate/expropriate it,” he wrote.
Sharing a post of where Mutua wrote the message, he captioned,
“They cannot be peace unless the owner of food is allowed to eat his own food.”
Alfred Mutua and Lilian Nganga went separate ways on August and Lilian has since moved on with rapper Juliani.
