A middle-aged man is fighting for his life at Mama Lucy Hospital while another succumbed to his injuries after the two fought using Pangas over unknown issues in Mukuru Kwa Reuben slums of Embakasi, Nairobi.
The two, George Anangwe aged 52, and the other identified by only one name Moses were reported to have had an argument along the Railway line where the two fought with Pangas resulting in injuries.
Anangwe who suffered a deep cut on the head and upper jaw succumbed while receiving treatment at Mama Lucy Hospital while his counterpart Moses suffered cuts on the neck and was rushed to Afya Medical within Mukuru where he was later referred to Mama Lucy where he is currently admitted receiving treatment.
“The Nyumba Kumi Chairman of the area told the police that he had received a call that two men George Anangwe and Moses were fighting along the railway line. The two argued and a fight ensued where they fought using Pangas. George suffered a deep cut on the upper jaw and head while Moses suffered cuts on the neck,” the police report stated in part.
Police officers recovered a bloody Panga from the scene and three chopped fingers of the deceased.
“At the primary scene, two chopped fingers of the deceased and one bloody panga were recovered,” the police report added.
The body of the deceased is being preserved at Mama Lucy Hospital Morgue awaiting an autopsy as the police continue with investigations.
Elsewhere in another incident, two garbage collectors are nursing injuries at the MSF hospital in Pangani after they were stabbed by a middle-aged man while preventing him from stealing seat Cushions in a furniture workshop.
According to a police report seen by K24 Digital, 27-year-old Dennis Mwangi and his friend were stabbed in the head and abdomen respectively during Tuesday, October 17, 2022 morning incident.
“Two garbage collectors were rushed by the police to MSF hospital in Pangani after they suffered deep stabs on the head and abdomen while preventing a guy identified as Issa from stealing seat cushions at a furniture workshop located near Blue but hotel in Ngara,” the police report stated.
