LG Showcase for Middle East and Africa 2024 return

After a successful return last year following a four-year hiatus, the renowned LG Showcase for Middle East and Africa (LG Showcase MEA) is back again for the 2024 edition in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, where over 500 guests will for two days experience the latest technologies by LG, a globally-acclaimed electronics manufacturer.

Held under the theme “Reinventing Together”, the LG Showcase MEA 2024 provides a platform for experiencing LG’s unique innovations, re-affirming the company’s vision to develop products that enhance the overall customer experience. 

The event also provides networking opportunities amongst LG’s business partners. On display are new innovations that will soon be rolled out in the region as well as others that are already in the market.

The showcase has multiple exhibition zones, where LG Electronics’ products are displayed in their ideal use-case scenarios. Showcased products include a hero zone with the 97-inch LG SIGNATURE WIRELESS OLED M, the world’s-first consumer TV operating the Zero Connect technology that enables the transfer of 4K video and audio wirelessly at 120Hz.

Also on display is LG’s innovative StanbyME Go, the 27-inch FHD smart screen that comes in a carry bag design and a three-hour built-in battery that allows for ultimate portability, making it a perfect companion for outdoor use, such as picnics and barbecues.

The event highlights the latest in LG Electronics’ innovation in processors and software with the new α (Alpha )11 processor that will be used in its flagship TVs and the latest WebOS respectively.

The α (Alpha )11 processor will be actively used in flagship TVs for powerful AI features that enhance the viewing experience, while the new WebOS brings a revamped home screen with wider title cards and smoother tiles.

The new WebOS will expand into 300 TV brands and 3,500 content partners, including local partners and has an active user growth increase in the MEA region of 20 times. 

A special zone is dedicated for audio visual products, including the latest in XBOOM speakers, which deliver a bold and crisp sound with exceptional bass output.

The showcase includes the LG XBOOM XL9T, the most powerful-in-class party speaker, and its smaller variant, the LG XBOOM XL5S with a 200W output, topped off with a dynamic pixel lighting effect that offers animation, and visual EQ, making it the perfect accessory for entertaining.

The LG CineBeam Q, the stylish and smallest 4K portable projector is a key attraction, with its delivery of stunning picture quality, but also a range of streaming features, while its minimalist design fits into any home design ethos.

Meanwhile, at the IT zone, is a showcase of the latest lineup of LG’s UltraGear OLED gaming monitors, including the new 32GS95UE, the world’s first VESA certified Dual Mode gaming monitor as well as the LG MyView Smart Monitor, a must-have for productivity and entertainment.

To top it off, LG Electronics is also displaying the LG MAGNIT (model LSAL006), a stunning 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution Micro LED display, that delivers unparalleled picture quality through the brilliance of Micro LED technology, ideal for both personal and professional use.  For retail use, LG has on showcase the OLED transparent screens, installed in the LG café experience zone.

The exhibition zone also includes an area for home appliances, including washing machines and air conditioning solutions as well as the brand’s premium built-in solutions.

Featured in this zone is the MoodUP™ refrigerator, which adds a unique personality to any home kitchen with the ultimate in customization by allowing users to choose from 22 colors for the upper door panel and 19 colors for the lower panel.

In addition to its visual aesthetic, the new LG MoodUPTM Refrigerator comes with three LED panel doors and a transparent fourth door.

Also on display is an LG built-in-kitchen package, a unique lineup comprising an InstaView™ oven, QuadWash™ dishwasher, bottom-freezer refrigerator and microwave oven, that make it easier for customers to build an all-inclusive experience powered by LG Electronics.  

LG’s new WashTower™ Compact laundry solution also stands out with its focus on efficiency and space by combining both a washer and dryer with an all-in-one control panel and advanced AI in a single unit with a capacity of 13-kilograms for the washer and 10-kilogram capacity for the dryer.

Furthermore, the showcase has on display LG’s Residential Air Conditioning units, such as the ARTCOOL lineup which features the LG DUAL Inverter Compressor™, a critical element that brings powerful cooling without affecting efficiency.
