Former Kware ward MCA Ken Ngo’ndi has now declared his interest in the position of speaker Nairobi City County Assembly.
Ng’ondi who also served as MCA Kware ward has assured the Nairobi elected MCAs that he will champion for their needs and wants when elected.
“My agenda is to bring harmony in the assembly and wealth of experience I have been a councilor from 2007 to 2013 where I was elected chairman of the health committee. In 2013 to 2017 I served the assembly as deputy speaker and Kware ward MCA so there is nothing that I don’t know in the assembly.” Ng’ondi told the media.
“We steered Nairobi County Assembly from the scratch with the late speaker Alex Ole Magelo…I brought planning bill that was used as business tool and scope to woo investors,’’ he added
Ngondi is the only candidate vying under ODM and enjoys support across the Azimio MCAs in Nairobi Assembly.
