Wezesha Youth Initiative is gearing up for an exciting event titled “Gem Got Talent.” This festival is designed to showcase and nurture talents from rural areas while also promoting awareness about mental wellness and substance abuse.
Founder and chairperson Paul Victor emphasized the significance of garnering support from local leaders to ensure the sustainability of the initiative. He called upon professionals from Siaya County to join them on May 4, 2024, to contribute to the event’s success.
The festival promises a diverse range of activities, including a football tournament, exhibitions, cultural games, and counseling sessions. By offering a platform for talented individuals from rural communities, the event aims to empower and inspire youth while addressing pressing societal issues such as mental health and substance abuse.
