Roysambu Member of Parliament, Hon. Kamande Mwafrika, extended a helping hand to the residents of Kamae who have been adversely affected by flooding in the area.

Making a surprise visit to the affected community, Hon. Kamande Mwafrika demonstrated his commitment to supporting those grappling with the aftermath of the floods.

During his visit, the MP donated essential foodstuffs to the affected families, providing much-needed relief to those facing hardship due to the flooding. Additionally, he pledged assistance to those whose homes had been destroyed, promising to facilitate the construction of new homes and support their resettle.

Hon. Kamande Mwafrika urged residents still residing in flood-prone areas to relocate to safer locations. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety to avoid the risk of being swept away by floodwaters

The MP assured Kamae residents that efforts would be made to address the infrastructure damage caused by the floods. Specifically, he promised that the roads damaged by the flooding would be swiftly reconstructed once the rains subside, ensuring improved accessibility for the community.
