Kenya Orient Life Assurance has emerged as the second runners-up for the ‘Group Life Best Practice’ award for being the most improved company during the 2024 Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI) Awards.
The AKI Awards is an annual event that brings together the insurance industry to recognize top-performing insurance sales agents and companies.
The Group Life Best Practice award is categorised under the Life Insurance category and acknowledges a company’s excellence and innovation in providing exemplary life insurance products and services to groups and individuals.
While receiving the award, the Principal Officer of Kenya Orient Life Assurance Jackson Muli, recognised that the achievement is a result of continuous effort to improve value propositions and customer experience, ensuring that they provide the best value to their clients.

Kenya Orient Life Assurance Limited has also in the past been feted as the first runners-up for the ‘Group Life Best Loss Ratio’ award during the AKI awards in 2022 for achieving a minimum loss ratio of 16.28 % in 2022.
Additionally, the company won the 2021 ‘Pension Marketing Campaign of the Year’ award in recognition of the effective social media marketing campaign on the individual pension plan geared to boost the uptake of personal pension products.
