Controversial business lady Jepchirchir has began refunding some of the clients who were up in arms demanding to be repaid after they failed to travel abroad.
In a list seen by this publication, Jepchirchir through her travel agency First Choice recruitment and consultancy has managed to refund about Sh 22,901,771 to over 400 clients.
The payment list ranges between Sh 10,000 and above.
Some have been paid through MPESA while others have been paid through the cheques deposited in various banks.
“We have decided the process to pay back. The truth of the matter we did not defraud anyone. Since we are genuine people, we will pay all those who are requesting to paid back,” a statement from First Choice partly reads.
Jepchirchir said the firm had connected more than 7,000 Kenyans to various jobs abroad in four years of operation.

During the launch, Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua revealed his ministry’s initiative dubbed ‘Kazi Majuu’, where he explained that Kenyans looking for opportunities abroad would log in to the e-Citizen portal and find available opportunities.
