Dagoreti North Incoming Member of Parliament Beatrice Elachi will today resume her campaigns after she yesterday took a break from her campaigns to spread the Azimio Gospel in the Coastal region for ODM leader Raila Odinga.
After resigning as a CAS, the vocal leader has busy campaigning in all corners of Dagoreti North.
While declaring the Interest of the sit Elachi said she will be vying under the ODM ticket because it is what the voters love and last time they refused to vote for her because she was on the Jubilee party.
Elachi being the first-ever female speaker to serve in the Nairobi City County Assembly, as well as the first-ever female Majority Chief Whip to serve in the Senate of Kenya, is set to face off with Nominated ODM MCA Mary Ariviza who has also expressed interest in the seat.
Her Main Competitor in the 2017 elections Simba Arati will be contestin for the Kisii Gubernatorial seat will be facing off with several aspirants among them Deputy Governor Joash Maangi and Kisii senator Prof Sam Ongeri.
