Comfort Homes Managing Dorector has called on Kenyans to be keen and do due diligence while buying lands and plots.

Speaking to the Media, Dr. Hezekiah Kariuki started that the buying and selling of land is not for the faint-hearted as there are a lot of things that are demanded.

He mentioned the problems of double allocation and fake papers as the main issues affecting the sector.

Kariuki called on the President to actualize his plan of ensuring every government services are digitalized to ensure all records are kept we’ll and safe.

“Buying and selling of land is not for the Faint-hearted. There are a lot of issues like double allocation where land is sold to three people. There is also the issue of fake papers where you could buy a 100 by 100 plot only to realize later that it’s a 50 by 100,” Kariuki stated.

When investing in Real Estate, learn the behaviour of directors as many are never available in the offices and when things go wrong, you may not be knowing who to handle the problem with,” he added.

He advised Kenyans to be at least fencing or putting a small structure which might be even a toilet as it prevents the land from being resold.

Customers investing with Comfort Homes deposit 10% of the required amount which gives them a chance to built a small structure and fence as they continue paying the installments.
