The Kenya National team Harambee Stars, is scheduled to play against Uganda cranes today at the Nyayo Stadium at 4pm EAT.

Due to the covid-19 restrictions, the matches will be played behind closed doors and FKF President Nick Mwendwa has clarified that no fans will be allowed to attend because of the risks posed by the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

He also said that only accredited journalists and security personals will be allowed to enter the venue and watch the game.

“We will not have fans attending Kenya versus Uganda, We tried our best to engage the government on the issue but they have insisted it is not possible to have fans, as it will be a risk to those attending so only essential workers including accredited journalists, security detail, and officials from the two countries, will be allowed to attend.” Said Nick Mwenda.

Arrangements have, however, been made to televise the match on KBC TV Channel One and live on Radio Milele FM.

The FKF President said that he will make sure that he takes Kenya to the World Cup appearance in Qatar.
