The National Construction Authority has given a nod for the continuation of the Multi-million housing Project in Taza Lane, parklands Developed by Ameey Homes Limited.
Last week NCA Executive Director Eng. Maurice Akech visited the site that has been involved in court battle with one of the locals.
However in submissions to the NCA Director during his tour of the site, Ameey Homes produced all the approvals for the development.
In documents seen by TaarifaNews, David Njiru Ndabiri had fake letters he purported to have been written by the local residents and the residents Association which we have confirmed doesn’t exist.

Documents in our possession show that Ndabiri had maliciously moved to court to block the construction despite Ameey homes having obtained approvals from NCA, NEMA and NCWASCo.
In a letter dated first July 2021 The Environment Assessment Impact from Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company show that project has a clean bill of health to continue with its development.
“Despite all these approvals he still moved to court claiming that the area doesn’t have adequate sewer line. We have since obtained restraining orders blocking him from getting into our site,” said Mr. Yusuf Askar who is the CEO Ameey Homes Limited.
Ndabiri has been using his influence in the government agencies to frustrate the project.
“All the approvals and documents we send to NCA are sent to him by someone in the government agency.” Added Askar
Yusuf revealed to TaarifaNews that even before the construction began, he had been pushing them to start the construction to avoid any harm from snakes and other wild animals.

“The problem has been going on for the last 5 years and it seems Mr. Ndabiri has no valid reason for intimidating the security guards manning the site. Mr. Ndabiri is an extortionist because he wanted money from us before we started the project. When we started without involving him it’s when the issue now escalated,” said Yusuf.
