KNCCI Announces Exit of Chief Executive Officer Following Appraisal

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) has announced the departure of its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ahmed Farah, effective April 17th, 2025.

In a statement released yesterday, the KNCCI Board of Directors confirmed that Mr. Farah’s exit follows the expiry of his probation period. The Board stated that upon appraisal, a decision was made not to extend his contract.

The KNCCI, a prominent membership-based trade support institution, plays a crucial role in advocating for the commercial and industrial interests of the Kenyan business community. The organization works to foster a favorable environment for trade and investment, supporting the growth of enterprises ranging from small and micro businesses to large corporations.

“The Board would like to thank Mr. Ahmed Farah for his contribution during his tenure and wish him every success in his next chapter,” the statement read.
