Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka has called on opposition supporters to stop the destruction of properties during their anti-government demonstrations.
Speaking at Kitale Golf Club during the launch of the Trans Nzoia County CIDP, Lusaka said it was sad to see Azimio supporters destroy properties that have cost taxpayers billions of dollars to construct.

“Your governor, Natembeya, and I are in different political camps, but when he invited me to this event, I couldn’t hesitate. Despite the different political affiliations, there is more we can gain working together,” said Lusaka.
He further advised opposition leaders and their supporters to picket peacefully for the government to listen to them.
“Once you engage in the destruction of properties, you will be destroying your own country. Let’s be very keen not to cause unnecessary destruction,” he emphasized.
Conclusively, the county boss lauded Natembeya for his developmental focus, divulging that he’ll also be launching his other programs soon.
