Stanbic Bank has promised to continue supporting and contributing to the Kenyan government’s economic and social growth agenda through firm interventions that propel job creation and social development. This is in conjunction to achieving the big 4 agenda by the government.
The bank today donated 20 computers to facilitate digital upskilling, funds to support the purchase of mattresses for inmates who have babies, and Cancer screening services.

“Stanbic Bank Foundation continues to support outreach activities built around its business, community engagements, and philanthropic milestones, to unlock possibilities through Job Creation and Enterprise Development. Through the Foundation we want to help create impact, change lives and businesses and contribute significantly to the growth of Kenya’s economy.” Pauline Mbayah, head of Stanbic Bank Foundation said.
Pauline also said that the partnership will be a long term to ensure that Kenyans get the services in accordance and the children who go to the prison with their parents have some good life.

With Stanbic Bank on board, such gaps can be addressed hence creating a conducive environment for the children. The mattresses donated will equip the children’s daycare centers in the women prisons across the country.
“The children accompanying their mothers in prison are a vulnerable group that needs special attention which at times may not be forthcoming due to the nature of the environment and the scarce resources. “said CAS, Interior & Coordination, Madam Winnie Guchu.
