Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has been warned against nominating former Mombasa Chief for Trade, Tourism and Investment Asha Abdi to be among the chief of staff for Nairobi City County.
This follows accusations that former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been her name for nomination after his successor Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir refused to nominate her among the chief of staff for Mombasa.
TaarifaNews established that Asha is the reason behind the huge pending bill of close to 3Billion for Mombasa.
A close source revealed that they will not allow her nomination because it will be a huge blow to Nairobi City county.
“We are well informed former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has been fronting the name of Asha for nomination in Nairobi as a Chief Officer. We are aware that he left a big pending bill for that county and we cannot allow her to be in Nairobi County,” Taarifa News was informed by a source who sort anonymous Asha served in the County of Mombasa for the two terms that Joho was in office as the Chief officer for Finance and planning and her last term she served as the Chief of staff Trade, Tourism and Investment.
