Yellow Moon launches an unorthodox digital luxury lifestyle magazine, YM Life

  •  Yellow Moon has launched YM Life digital lifestyle magazine, a conceptual space in which African realities are both interrogated and understood with nuances of modern-day chic. This publication will be dedicated to redefining luxury in all things travel, art, food, and fashion.

Yellowmoon Marketing a Kenyan based, and leading experiential marketing agency has launched Kenya’s first digital Luxury Lifestyle Magazine titled YM Life.

YM Life will be a magazine dedicated to redefining luxury in their readers’ eyes and in the eyes of those who share the same outlook on what they refer to as Afropolitanism.

The magazine’s first issue will include a cover story about artists Boutross & Benzema on their journey thus fur as multi-dimensional artists.  In addition, there are interviews with high-profile creatives, Yasmin Osman, Nicole Tara, Renson Malesi & Filbert Mkwiche onhow their craft has shaped their life.

 This inaugural issue also includes lifestyle, travel and beauty hot topics as your go-to lifestyle guide.

The publishers think of themselves as the purveyors of chic & seek the disruptive, non-conformist and unorthodox in every issue. The magazine will be published every two monthsand focus on setting the tone on the newest trends in fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle.

YM Life was conceptualized by Yellowmoon Director Mulwa Mbai, and international creative director Mina Hameau. Mina Hameau, led & worked closely with the team to develop creative concepts & ideas that birthed the magazine’s first issue.

The climax of the launch was the YM Life AfroMet Gala, an eclectic high-fashion event that disrupted Nairobi with attendees from all realms of Nairobi’s creative scene. 

The Editor-in-chief said she intends her publication to be “the definitive guide” for thoseequally disruptive soon to be captains of their craft individuals.

Commenting about magazine, Editor-in-Chief, Muthoni Gichira said, “We’ve been working on this for a while now, and my partner Editorial Assistant, Lindsay Lulu & I are very excited to share it with the world. We’re very passionate about celebrating African artistry and YM Life provides us & our readers with a platform to celebrate just that.”
