The Samsung Frame TV dubbed the world most aesthetic TV is now available in Kenya. The Frame TV is one of several Designer TVs from Samsung that has been retailing in other markets around the world and will now be available at Samsung stores countrywide.
The Frame TV is a perfect amalgamation of Samsung’s revolutionary QLED technology and innovative design, enhancing both the living space and entertainment experience for users. The QLED technology enables beautiful colors, exceptional contrasts and impeccable details with 100% color volume.
What earns the Frame TV “Most Aesthetic TV” title is that when it’s not being used as a TV, it moves into Art Mode, turns into a picture frame that can display over 1,200 digital art from around the world, and transform everyday living space into an art gallery. Just like how a framed picture looks different depending on the time of day, The Frame adjusts the screen brightness based on the ambient light in the room, using its in-built motion and brightness sensors.
“At Samsung we have realized that the modern Kenyan places what their consumer electronics look like at the same level as the performance. Kenyans are looking for TV’s that look good and have exceptional features. We take customer requests very seriously and that is why we have decided to bring in the Frame TV for the design conscious user, someone who cares about the look and feel of their environment and how the TV blends-in.” says Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung Electronics East Africa.
The new Frame TV hugs the wall at just 24.9mm thick, similar to the depth of a typical picture frame. The Frame TV is a full-featured Samsung smart TV, with all the apps and services of a standard Samsung 4K TV, and the addition of the Samsung Art Store, which gives you access to thousands of gallery-quality images of artwork, both famous works and new material from upcoming artists. The Frame has built-in speakers offering 2-channel 20-watt sound, but if you want more robust audio to match your TV, it’s also compatible with Samsung soundbars, complete with a slim soundbar made to go with The Frame.
Mr. Sam Odhiambo further says “The Samsung Frame TV comes with a separate connect box that allows for all the wiring required to run the TV at optimum level. The screen is connected to the power through a one wire connection. The TV is mounted with a special “no- gap” wall mounting that allows the TV to sit flat on the wall like a piece of art”.
The 65’ Frame TV that is available in Kenya will retail for 239,995 Kenya Shillings and comes with a two year warranty.
