Police officers in Murang’a County are detaining a murder suspect from the Koingini, Kiharu Sub-County accused of killing her husband yesternight at around 11 PM.
The woman who has been identified as Nancy Wanjiru killed his husband Samuel Waiganjo who was 35 years old by stabbing him with a knife several times.
Waiganjo is reported to have died on the spot.
The two are said to have had a quarrel which led to their fighting.
She is expected to be arraigned in court later today as the body of the deceased was taken to Murang’a County Hospital morgue.
Wanjiru is reported to have moved out of jail the past two months after being involved in the illegal business of selling bhang.
