Westlands MP Pledges to Involve Churches in Constructive Politics

About 60 pastors from Uthiru flyover have today met Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi where they vowed to ensure their churches are actively involved in vouching for development based politics.

Bishop Sunguti, an influential pastor from Oneness Pentecostal Ministry emphasised the need for lasting friendship with Hon Tim Wanyonyi.

He cited Mr Wanyonyi’s massive assistance to several churches in Westlands. Specifically, he lauded Mr Wanyonyi for helping churches to secure their church land, purchasing church instruments, donating furniture as well as supporting several church projects.

Bishop Sunguti further commended Hon Wanyonyi for annually sponsoring pastors to visit Israel and several other countries for pilgrimage. He termed this as a once in a lifetime opportunity that the MP sacrifices to ensure they experience.

Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi said that he will seek another term in 2022 amid wild endorsement from the clergy.Furthermore, Mr Wanyonyi asked the Pastors to remain faithful to the development course they are jointly chatting for the constituency.“Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.

Anyone preaching anything different is not from God,” he said.Moreover, Mr Tim Wanyonyi said that they should not gamble with the constituency’s leadership. He dismissed the abusive tactics deployed by his purported competitors.

Similarly, he also called on the clergy to keep off from politicians drumming tribal, divisive and misleading politics.Furthermore, the clergy acknowledged the MP’s remarkable use of CDF to improve school infrastructure and security in the constituency.

The pastors unanimously assured the soft spoken legislator of their unwavering support as he seeks a second re-election bid in 2022.
