Vivo Energy Kenya and Simba Corporation today handed over the latest Mitsubishi L200 double cabin Pickup to the lucky winner in the Weka Collabo promotion. Mr. Kelvin Mubea, was handed the keys to his new Double Cabin pickup today at the Simba Corporation offices on Mombasa road in the presence of his family members. Vivo Energy Kenya then proceeded to top up his tank at the Shell Bellevue Petrol Station on Mombasa road.
Speaking at the Prize presentation ceremony, Simba Motors MD, Naresh Leekha said this was an exciting time for Simba Corp who have been the franchise holder for Mitsubishi vehicles for the last 40 years. “We are happy to present this new remodeled Mitsubishi L200 double cabin pickup which is a new level of luxury, with the right mix of interior comfort but the same ruggedness and grit that has been part of every Mitsubishi L200 4×4 Double cabin pickup.
Also speaking during the handover ceremony, Mr. Stephen Gikonyo, the Vivo Energy Kenya Lubricants, and LPG Sales & Marketing Manager, said that the Weka Collabo promotion was Vivo Energy’s way to reward their customers. “The Weka Collabo promotion affirms our commitment to our customers who are the key drivers of the transport industry. The Mitsubishi L200 pickup is the 2021 version of the model which has been available on Kenyan roads for the past 25 years. The Mitsubishi L200 double cabin pickup combines the interior comforts of a passenger car with the power, durability, and performance of a pickup. Additionally, the car comes with very good fuel economy and can drive anywhere across the country. Simba Corp is looking to begin the local assembly of the Mitsubishi L200 pickups later this year.
