Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja forced short the tour of former South-C member of the County Assembly (MCA) Osman Khalif Abdi in London UK, we can authoritatively report.

Osman, who had accompanied the Governor to London was forced to cut short his trip and come back home after Sakaja cut links with him following his investigations over Osman’s alleged misdeeds at the county government.

Sources privy to the happening told our reporter that Governor Sakaja was angered with reports of Osman’s fraudulent deals at City Hall and was forced to expel him from the official tour of the UK.

In London, Governor Sakaja joined worshipers for Palm Sunday at the Westminster Cathedral led by the Archbishop of Westminster Vincent Gerard Nichols. He also had a meeting with Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK Manoah Esipisu and Deputy High Commissioner Kiarie Kamere where he had a meeting with various UK Agencies, philanthropists, and resource persons.

Sakaja ejected Osman from the UK after realizing that the former MCA has been victimizing county staff and contractors oblivious to his knowledge.

According to sources, Sakaja did his investigations and noted that the cries and complaints that have been renting the air over Osman were actually true especially on harassing county staff and contractors forcing him to call off his engagement with the Ex-MCA abroad.

Osman, it is reported, had gone ahead with his fraudulent deals while away in London where he even called representatives of Nairobi county workers to collect money from workers promising to make sure they are paid their salaries in time as the cash crunch continues to bite the National government and the County governments.

The angry workers are now waiting for the Governor to call for the monthly staff meeting and they will ask him to address the issues raised over Osman.

Osman is suspected to have a suspect clandestine relationship with former Nairobi Metropolitan Service Director General Mohammed Badi who he is said to be trying to raise the same with Governor.

The governor is said to have realized what kind of a man Osman is and is thinking of dropping him from his team of advisers.

A majority of the county government staff prefer working with the Chief of Staff David Njoroge noting that at least Njoroge gives them a listening year on their plight as opposed to Osman.

Most of those who spoke with our reporter said that given another two months with Osman’s bloated ego engineering the happenings at City Hall with his greed, the county risks running into crisis.
