Kenya’s leading research firm, Microtrac Africa Africa has ranked the National Police DT Sacco best performing in the country.
The police sacco was registered in 1972 and currently has about 72,000 members counrywide with an estimated asset base of 49 billion and a loan portfolio of 41 billion.
The sacco is currently the most profitable sacco in Kenya.
The sacco has managed to give back to the community including construction of a stadium at the national police pavilion.
It also has been active on various affordable housing projects.
Due to good leadership by its CEO Mr. Solomon Angutsa, Kenya Police Sacco has managed to be the best sacco in Kenya with a mean rate of 74 percent.
The sacco has also embraced technology hence you can just access any service you require by just clicking a button on your phone.
Coming second in the polls is Stima Sacco.
Stima Sacco has also recorded significant growth recording nine per cent growth on its loan book for the year ended December 2023, as the deposit-entity continued with a nationwide expansion.
Harambee and Wakulima took the 3rd and 4th with mean rating of 67 and 65.7 percent respectively.
