P&L Consulting was recognized for its outstanding work in providing crucial support to cement manufacturers in presenting a compelling case against the proposed increase of import duty on clinker, a vital raw material in cement production, from the current rate of 10% to 25%.
The successful opposition to this increment proposal, championed by certain industry players, safeguarded fair competition within the sector.
Additionally, the firm has also emerged victorious with another well-deserved trophy and certificate of excellence in the Financial Communications and Issues Management categories.
These accolades were gained in recognition of P&L Consulting’s exemplary handling of the revival of Mumias Sugar Limited, an enterprise recovering from a state of receivership.
