Pomp and color, intertwined with dancing and deep laughter were witnessed in Kajiado County over the weekend during the GMC Bush Camp groundbreaking ceremony at Love Gardens.
The GMC Bush camp is located only 1.5KMs from Kajiado Town and inside Love Gardens, a project that is still currently active and under Optiven Real Estate.
The camp will be a heaven for photographers, a tourist visit site, and a honeymoon place for couples and families looking for that attested bush camping experience.
The event was graced by Kajiado deputy governor Hon. Martin Moshisho, George Wachiuri (CEO Optiven), and a host of investors as well as the local community.
Speaking, the deputy governor said Kajiado County is open to partnering with investors who would transform the County by creating job opportunities for the locals.
He said that the investments such as GMC Bush Camp by Optiven would open up the County into investors’ destination and acts as an important vehicle that will help create job opportunities for many locals.
“We encourage even more investors to keep partnering with us so that we can generate more job opportunities for our locals as well as expand on our county revenue collection, “he said.
Optiven CEO and Founder George Wachiuri said that the groundbreaking of GMC is an indication of the realization of the Optiven vision to be realized by the year 2030.
He said that the project not only promises the creation of employment opportunities for the people of Kajiado but also will be the best family-oriented recreation facility in the region.

He noted that the Bush camp will be a great getaway location from the town life, where guests will experience great landscapes and scenic views, camping adventures, waterparks, and traditional houses for accommodation.
