Nairobi Metropolitan Services is on the spot for supervising ‘illegal’ demolition of Nairobi city water and sewage Company staff houses in Eastleigh section 3.
The demolition left about twenty homesless.
According to Nairobi City County Water and Sewerage Company staff whose houses were demolished they were not informed on time about the demolition and that there is ill-motive behind it.
“First we were told there matter was in court and we could stay later NMS officials came and earmarked the building, two days later they have demolished everything thing,” they said.
“Badi started well but happens is totally different there are talks that there is an investor who has already grabbed the land using NMS officials.” They added.
