Kipipiri MP, Wanjiku Muhia, has appealed to the Azimio La Umoja team, led by ODM leader Raila Odinga and former President Uhuru Kenyatta, to halt their criticisms of President William Ruto’s administration.

Speaking to the media, Muhia noted that opposition leaders should stop fighting the current administration.

She said that the government has been doing an exceptional job in uniting the Country after last year’s general election.

Muhia further urged all political leaders to focus on addressing pressing issues such as national development, job creation, and improving the lives of Kenyans.

She highlighted the need for a united front, where leaders from different political affiliations work together towards the betterment of the country.

“Even when someone marries, you don’t expect to see a child delivered after only two months. It takes time. We are also asking Kenyans to be tolerant and give us time to deliver on our pledges,” Wanjiku Muhia said.

She said that the country can move forward only when people work together and live in love and unity.

Muhia urged the youth to take advantage of opportunities created through government interventions to help them achieve their dreams.

Her call comes at a time when the political landscape in Kenya is experiencing significant shifts and heightened tensions.

Azimio leaders have constantly accused Kenya Kwanza administration of failing to honour its election promises, abetting corruption, and dividing Kenyans

Odinga during the Jubilee National delegates’ conference warned that Kenya Kwanza’s politics of isolation would soon begin hurting Kenyans directly.

Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta has advised leaders to respect others if they also want to be respected.

Uhuru added that even if he has been quiet with everything that has been going on, it does not mean he doesn’t know what he is doing or he is afraid.

“Heshima sio utumwa, its a two way street, na kuona wengine wamenyamaza sikuona wameogopa,” he said.
