KBL Celebrates 100 Years Of Existence By Awarding Consumers

100 dreams in 100 days.  45 Kenyans have won a total of Ksh 100,000 in weekly winnings in the ongoing Kenya Breweries Limited consumer promotion dubbed Tekeleza Teke Teke. So far, a total amount of Ksh 4.8 million in cash has been disbursed, and Ksh 23.10 million worth of airtime paid out to winning customers. 

As part of celebrating a milestone by Tusker turning 100 years, KBL has been gratifying its new generation bottled beer consumers and making their dreams come true.  

Humphrey Welime, a Boda Boda rider who resides in Bungoma, said that he will use the money to finish paying off his motorbike that he acquired through a loan.  

Ibrahim Nyamweya from Kitengela was estatic that he would be able to boost his cake baking business.  

Reuben Mati, Mercy Wambui, and Job Juma, from Tharaka Nithi, Kiambu, and Githurai respectively, are among the lucky winners who have won Ksh. 100,000 each. Other cash winners were Hannington Naye Lucy Wangui, Ruth Kavaya, and Moses Wainaina from Pangani, Kitengela, Nakuru, and Kiambu. 

KBL Commercial Director Joel Kamau intimated: “As KBL, we understand that sharing a beer is more than just a social drinking occasion for our consumers. It’s a celebration of friendship, a time to dream, seek inspiration and talk about ambitions while plotting your next move “ 

Beer-drinking age-legal millennials (18-34) account for approximately 14 million of Kenya’s 49.7 million population, forming a dominant consumer base in the alcohol and beverage sector, which influences KBL’s beer innovation and route-to-market.
