Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Agnes Kagure has boosted Motor Bike Riders by giving a donation of 1 Million in total.
The one Million has been divided into sh.200,000 going towards Boda Members welfare and the remaining sh.800,000 going towards Boda Boda Riders Sacco as well to help kick start insurance payments and savings.
Speaking at same Event Ken Onyango Excutive and Boda Boda Chairman Nairobi called upon Aspirants and National Government to work out a formula to weed out criminals who have taken over the Boda Business terrorist innocent Kenyans.
Kagure has called upon the bodabodas to remain disciplined, hard working and to ensure proper insurance cover for both the rider and customer donating 800,000 to kick start safeness among the riders.
“Boba Boda business employees thousands of youth and older person as well few Women are into business too hence safety is key,” said Kagure.
“I do visits India and it has millions of Boda Boda Riders but they are discipline ,behave well on road, have insurance cover and do business carefuly. In Nairobi and Kenya at large, we must work out proper policy to protect our riders . The riders need to be protected from harassment by police, City Council askaris,” added Kagure.
