As Country prepares to celebrate World No Tobacco Day on 31st Monday May 2021,concerns have been raised on the implementation of Tobacco guidelines.
According to Samuel Bobby from Kenya Tobacco Control Alliance Shisha burn implementation remains a bigger challenge with many clubs selling the product to revelers.
“The main challenge we have is the implementation of rules because some people still use Shisha in entertainment joints and in their houses…we can say regulations are there but the enforcement part of it is wanting,” Bobby said.
The World No Tobacco Day fete will take place at the Kamkunji Grounds on 31st May, and stakeholders are gearing to use this opportunity to create awareness on fight against Tobacco products.
