This comes after a journalist from the African Leadership Magazine paused to ask the management team whether the hotel may consider implementing cutting-edge technologies like edible plates and cups.

Lorenzo Baleri, general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Airport, responded to her inquiry by suggesting that since technology is constantly developing, nothing is impossibly difficult.

In support of his claim, Ms Liz Tapawa, the hotel’s sales director, said that the culinary departments would be more than willing to embrace the notion if it were approved by the pertinent bodies assigned to give the plan the go-ahead.

“A hotel 50 years ago had no computers, no cell phones, the switchboard was a spaghetti switchboard, you know! Infect when I trained, I trained on the switchboard….So nothing is impossible.”…..Lorenzo Baleri, Hilton Garden Inn General Manager.

“Culinary departments in the hotels would be happy to take up edible cutlery as an in venture as they continue researching and confirming and getting approvals from institutions like KEBS that it is safe for human consumption. So yeah, it’s fascinating the people in the culinary. That would be quite interesting.”…..Ms.Liz Tapawa ,Saes Director at Hilton Garden inn.

In addition, the management team provided the writer with information about their most recent technical advancement, stating that the hotel compared its new method of room check-in to that of an airplane.
In fact, they were speaking after receiving their 2022 ABEA awards, which were presented this month at a hotel in Nairobi.
