Johnson Oduk has for long been an ODM supporter who has acted on the peripheries as an advisor and mobiliser for various candidates.
Since 2002,Oduk has been an active force in the larger Lang’ata before the constituency was split to give birth to the Kibra constituency.
But after working to help others rise the political ladder,he has now decided to throw in his hat; now targeting to be the Karen Ward MCA.
His mission,he says,is to bring the seat back home and help solve the problems bedeviling Karen Ward people.
He argues that many people assume that Karen Ward belongs to the rich and hence has no problems.
” This is a myth that has seen our people suffer because Karen has been neglected.We still have drainage issues,water supply challenges and street lighting,” Oduk said .
He is seeking to win the ODM party primaries schedules for next month where he will battle it out with incumbent David Mberia.
Oduk is a media practitioner with vast interest in digital advertising.
He believes that he has what it takes to win the seat and help the Azimo team win the Lang’ata constituency seat.
