Ngong’ residents are now pleading with Azimio la Umoja top leadership to have governor Joseph Ole Lenku fly the coalition flag in Kajiado.
Addressing the media in Ngong’ town, the residents says Lenku is the best and that former governor David Nkedianye is a tribal warlord who can not lead and articulate Azimio la Umoja agenda in Kajiado.
“We observed him during his first term his main agenda was to evict Agikuyu community in Ng’ong he has now coiled demanding Azimio ticket… I want to ask President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM boss Raila Odinga not to give Nkedianye the Azimio ticket.’’ They said.
“Nkadienye thinks that we are fools he incited the Maa Community against us he now want this seat again to humiliate us we are not fools and he should withdraw his candidature.” They added.
Nkedienye has picked Kajiado North member of parliament Joseph Manje as his running mate in a move to win Kikuyu votes in Ngong’.
“He is a big problem we have in Kajiado, Manje be assured that Nkedianye is using to evict you own people and we shall not allow that. We have stayed in peace and no more clashes,” the residents said.
