Former Miss Tourism Dismisses Claims of Vying for Women Rep

Former Miss Tourism Lamu, Jennifer Waridi has dismissed claims that she will be vying for the County Women Rep.

Waridi has set the records clear saying she is focused on creating awareness on whom Kenyans should elect in the August Elections.

“I have not yet joined politics and had not planned to vie for the seat in 2022. I will actively participate in the elections and create awareness on how to choose the right leaders. The ones who will take care of our needs,” stated Waridi.

She has promised to continue supporting Azimio la Umoja because it has a diverse manifesto for both the youth, women, and the elderly.

“I will continue to drum support to the Azimio la Umoja because it is right here that both the youth, women, and everyone at large and Kenya shall find solace and the economy will normalize to better,” she added.

Waridi has promised to continue advocating for the rights of women, young girls, and youths through the art and media space that she is in.

The socialite further thanked the people of Lamu for their recommendations reminding them to remain peaceful throughout the campaign and election period.

“Thank you all for the recommendations and your thoughts of Love. Let us remain peaceful and maintain brotherhood and sisterhood throughout this election period,” she said.
