Dagoreti North incoming Member of National Assembly Beatrice Elachi this morning called upon Supporters of Azimio la Umoja to prepare vote in joint Governor, Senator, Women Rep, MPs, and MCAs.
Speaking today morning on Citizen Tv daybreak show, the former Nairobi County Assembly Speaker called upon Azimio Party supporters to maintain peace vote wisely supports Raila Amollo Odinga.
Elachi has promised to continue with the good work that she started when she was once a nominated senator citing an example of the bill she introduced to help curb hunger.
She said she supports Odinga because he is merciful, respectful, and has forgiveness contrary to DP Ruto.
“When I was in Senate, I introduced a food security bill and its purpose was to come up with different mechanisms of how to deal with hunger when it’s there. I want a leader who has mercy, respect, and forgiveness; that is not in my Deputy President William Ruto,” said Elachi
She called on people to vote for Odinga because he is a believer in devolution that is meant to cure some of these challenges.
“The saddest part about corruption in Kenya is that we always politicize it; I support Raila because, without fear or favor, he now has an opportunity to face anyone who has misused public resources,” she added.
