Former Education CEC Nairobi County Janet Ouko has slammed Nairobi County Government for not taking seriously what they promised in Dishi na County Program ,this is after delay complains emerged in schools listed for piloting.
The recent affected schools includes Kihumbini Primary School and Ayany Primary School in Kibra.
Ouko says the County Government lacks capacity to deliver food on time and therefore disrupting learning.
“If we continue this way then we shall have consistent disruption of learning because even some head teachers have complained bitterly about it. The County is overwhelmed by its own mandate they don’t have technical capacity to undertake this program at school level we have several reports of delays. ‘’ Ouko stated in a brief to media houses.
